• You have a completed MBO level 3 or 4 degree in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechniek);
• You have a good command of German, Dutch, or English (one of these languages is required);
• You possess a valid VCA and Forklift certificate (Aerial platform/Hoogwerker is a plus);
• You have several years of experience in a similar role within a production environment;
• You are a safety-conscious professional who can work both independently and in a team.

As an Electrical technician in Winterswijk, you are the specialist responsible for the electrical heart of our plant. You detect, locate, and resolve electrical malfunctions in machines, installations, and utility systems. Besides reactive troubleshooting, you perform preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure maximum uptime. You carry out emergency repairs when needed, but also work on larger, planned electrical projects based on detailed assignments. You don’t just maintain; you think ahead by proposing technical improvements and updating installation documentation and maintenance plans.

What are your responsibilities?

• Identifying, locating, and resolving electrical malfunctions in machinery and utilities;
• Performing preventive maintenance and inspections on all electrical installations;
• Executing emergency repairs on electrical systems and components to ensure continuity;
• Realizing large-scale electrical repairs during planned maintenance stops;
• Collaborating with colleagues from other disciplines or external parties on complex tasks;
• Proposing technical improvements and updating operating instructions and maintenance plans;
• Reporting findings and documenting technical changes in the installation files;
• Maintaining a high standard of safety and order within the electrical department.
